“Caminhos para a integração” (Paths towards integration) was an event that included a seminary and a photographic workshop (Camera obscura) done with young people belonging to a poor community living in one of the suburbs in Lisbon. An exhibition where the works produced were shown concluded the event. The authors of the best photos were also given teaching lesson to allow them to drive the future photo workshops. A book with the texts of this event was published. This was an initiative of the director of the Goethe Institut and Marc Pottier as Cultural Attaché of the French Embassy in Portugal. The photos are from a workshop with teenagers organized by François Perri and Christine Talabard from “Dialogue de l’Image”.
