Portugal, 2004
Created in 2004 by the art collector António
da Veiga Pinto and Marc Pottier, the Portuguese Association for
the International Diffusion of Contemporary Art – ADIAC,
had as mission promoting contemporary art from Portugal internationally.
It reunited art collectors with meetings and visits in Portugal
and abroad. The association also created a collection of monographs
of recognised artists who, for different reasons, didn’t
have yet a compilation of their work published. These books were
sent graciously to cultural institutions, art collectors, art
critics and galleries around the world. See some examples in the
